Allegiant Air is set to enhance its service to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, by introducing new nonstop flights from Dayton, Ohio, and Elmira, New York, starting May 22, 2026. These routes will operate on Fridays and Mondays, with one-way fares beginning at $49.

This expansion is part of Allegiant's broader strategy to connect travelers from smaller cities to popular vacation destinations. Drew Wells, Allegiant's Chief Commercial Officer, emphasized the airline's commitment to providing affordable and convenient travel options.

The addition of these routes is expected to significantly boost Myrtle Beach tourism. Local officials anticipate increased visitor numbers, which will benefit the area's hotels, restaurants, and attractions. Judi Olmstead, director of airports at Myrtle Beach International Airport, highlighted the importance of these new connections in supporting the region's tourism economy.

Myrtle Beach International Airport has been experiencing record passenger numbers, reflecting the Grand Strand's growing appeal as a travel destination. The introduction of these new Allegiant Air routes is expected to further enhance the region's accessibility and economic growth.

Travelers interested in these new flights can find more information and book tickets through Allegiant Air's official channels.
