Myrtle Beach's municipal course unveils significant upgrades to enhance player experience |
Whispering Pines Golf Club, the only municipal course in Myrtle Beach, has reopened its doors following a comprehensive renovation project.
The course has been renovated and has new tee boxes, greens, fairways, and sand traps, alongside a repaved parking lot and upgraded irrigation systems.
These enhancements aim to provide golfers with an improved playing experience.
In the coming weeks, a new sign reading, "Welcome to the Golf Capital of the World!" will be installed near the Myrtle Beach International Airport, further solidifying the city's reputation as a premier golf destination.
Other courses in the Grand Strand area are also undergoing significant upgrades.
The Maples Course at Sea Trail Golf Resort is closed for a major transformation.
It's expected to reopen by early October.
Similarly, the King's North Course at Myrtle Beach National Golf Club is in the final phase of a two-year renovation, with the back nine set to reopen in early October.
These developments underscore Myrtle Beach's commitment to maintaining its status as a top-tier golf destination.
