Dink District Pickleball Facility Set to Elevate Myrtle Beach Sports Scene in 2026

State-of-the-art indoor complex to offer year-round play for all skill levels

Exclusive

A groundbreaking addition to Myrtle Beach's sports landscape is on the horizon with the upcoming Dink District pickleball facility, slated to open in 2026.

Located at 200 Ronald McNair Boulevard in Carolina Forest, this 40,000-square-foot, climate-controlled complex aims to provide an unparalleled experience for pickleball enthusiasts.

The facility will feature 14 professional-grade courts, a pro shop, a lounge overlooking the courts, and locker rooms equipped with showers.

A central "championship court" is also planned to host tournaments and special events, enhancing Myrtle Beach's reputation as a premier sports destination.

Co-owner Kerry Reynolds emphasized the benefits of indoor play, stating, "If you play pickleball outside, you're getting hit with at least one of these factors every time you play. Inside, no problem."

The Dink District will cater to players of all skill levels by offering a mix of membership and walk-in options.

While focusing on open play, the facility will also accommodate reserved courts, a variety of classes, and leagues.

This venture is a collaboration between Dr. Ron K. Reynolds, a longstanding member of the Myrtle Beach business and healthcare community since 1986, and his son, Kerry Reynolds.

Kerry is a certified Level 2 International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association instructor and a local player who has competed in several tournaments.

The company envisions the Dink District as a place "that can be appreciated by players of all levels year-round, regardless of weather, in the nation's fastest-growing sport."

Construction has yet to begin on the facility, but anticipation is already building within the community.

As pickleball continues to surge in popularity, the Dink District is poised to become a central hub for enthusiasts in the Myrtle Beach area.

Stay tuned for further updates as this exciting project progresses.
