Construction has begun on a new Amazon delivery facility in Carolina Forest, designed to accelerate package delivery for area residents.
Covering over 27 acres on Postal Way, this hub will play a key role in Amazon’s expanding logistics network.
Unlike previous projects, no tax incentives are involved, highlighting Amazon's direct investment in the community.
To address traffic worries, Amazon will allow drivers special access to Highway 501 during less busy hours.
The center is projected to generate local jobs and spur economic growth, though an official opening date remains unannounced.
This initiative comes on the heels of the 2024 launch of Amazon’s same-day delivery site in North Myrtle Beach.
These developments reinforce Amazon’s commitment to speedier deliveries and a stronger presence in South Carolina, fueling both optimism and anticipation among residents. Read More... |

Recent approval of the RIDE IV program by Horry County voters will provide $450 million in local funds to help ensure construction, but is dependent on state-level commitments.
If realized, I-73 would significantly boost the Grand Strand’s connectivity to I-95 and elevate Horry County’s economic prospects. Read More... |
